Yes, I'm a magazineaholic! I get Fons & Porter, McCalls, American Patchwork, Quiltmaker, Quilter's Newsletter, Machine Quilters Unlimited. But I'm letting both Quilter's Newsletter (although some awesome quilts that have won awards shown) and Fons & Porter--just don't see many quilts that I'm interested in. I particularly like Quiltmaker as the patterns are clear and they include quilting ideas. But check out several at Barnes & Noble, etc and see what you like best. What I'd really like is Irish Quilting, but can no longer find it at Hancocks or any place else.

I subscribe to American Patchwork & Quilting, McCalls, AQS, Quilters Newsletters,Quilter's World & Fons & Porter. Will not be renewing F & P. In my humble opinion the quality has diminished in their magazine.

My favorite is Quiltmaker, and it was the first quilting magazine I subscribed to. I've also subscribed to McCall's when I had a really good deal, and Love of Quilting, and of course, the AQS magazine with their membership. I think Love of has gone downhill lately, a little too simplified for me. And like NanaBeez, my rule is a given magazine has to have at least three to four projects I want to make.

My favorite is Quilt Sampler. I love looking at all the different quilt shops and dreaming of going to them some day. (I wish!) I also really like Primitive Quilts magazine.

I used to get a number of them over the span of about 10-15 years, but lately I've let them all lapse because it seems like, over time, there are the same patterns just with new fabric collections. I never use the collection featured because it's either not my style or I'm making a particular quilt at a much later time when that line is no longer available. If I were to renew one, it would be McCall's Quick Quilts.

i subscribed to all of them. but as the expire i do not renew. it was getting much too expensive. i stopped getting blocks, that was much too much money. i do like mc calls and quilters newsletter. will probably continue them. there are too many patterns on the computer for free that make me just as happy.
