Default What Is Your Favorite Scrap Quilt Pattern?

I'm not normally a huge scrap quilt fan, but I do like them now and then. I made one scrappy quilt before, pictured below, but I haven't ventured into it, since. I think I need to make a few, though. I've been throwing all of my scraps into a tote bin for a while, now, but it's needing to be emptied. So, what are some of your favorite patterns for scrap quilts? I know about log cabins and crazy quilts, but are there any other ones?

I love this one, http://www.quiltingboard.com/attachm...en_pattern.pdf , which I have posted a link to download the pattern for as it is just so wacky

But the other lovely scrap quilts I like are from Bonnie Hunters site, her Crayon box is so easy and such fun: http://quiltville.blogspot.co.uk/200...rayon-box.html

But my all time favourite has to be this one, another of Bonnie's patterns: http://quiltville.blogspot.co.uk/200...oxy-stars.html

I love your quilt - would call it a very controlled scrappy sampler. I usually make very UNcontrolled scrappies, the last one here - http://www.quiltingboard.com/picture...d-t207658.html - but usually I make log cabins with the scraps. I'm trying to branch out and make other patterns too and have been going through books and web sites looking for the next one to make.

Beautiful quilts! I've made 3 scrap quilts using Eleanor Burns "Summer Porch" Pastel scraps for my summer topper, golds, reds, and greens for the fall topper, and reds and greens for the Christmas topper, now one for spring.

Quiltville is a good place to start when looking for scrap quilts. I am doing the Spiderweb from Bonnie's site. My next scrap quilt I think will be "That Thirties Thing" that someone posted a picture of. It was from a free pattern at Quilter's cache-quilt blocks galore I think.

Wow great scrap quilt! No advice on a pattern. I think you can take any pattern and make it scrappy.
