My very favorite is Grandmother's Flower Garden. I don't think I want to make one though.

You know... I don't know why, but I just love the Churn Dash pattern! I'll be making one as soon as I get some other projects completed... just love that little pattern...

Don't forget the appique patterns! The child's quilt with animals and the sunbonnet sues are a perfect match for the old tymies too.

I like a scrappy Irish chain , or Boston Commons with 30's reproduction fabrics.

How about a Dresden Plate pattern. As vintage as it gets for 1930s reproductions.

Another would be Delectable Mountains.

How about Shoo Fly, Monkey Wrench or Hole in the Barn Door. One of these is the same pattern with different name, I forget which.

Snake in the Hollow is another one.

Can you tell that I'm vintage!
peace

This is an easy one: "Double wedding rings"Dresden Plates" and Sunbonnet Sues !! Have fun!! Just love it when people see these quilts and the patterns are so readily recognized. I just love these. Have made around 6 DWR's, a couple of Dresden Plates and a couple of SS's.

I love the SBS, the dresden plate or the butterfly quilt. They all work very nicely with vintage or retro material.
