That is so strange, momto4, I just printed that pattern over the weekend. Planning out which colors to go with. Not sure if I want to duplicate as shown. Although those colors would go great in the bedroom. I like pinks a lot too! Decisions, decisions! Hmmmm!

I want the Cosmic Jewels kit from Keepsake quilting. It is on page 88. It just screams out my oldest sons name! For myself I want the Evangeline kit on page 63, the Sunny Days kit on page 46 (only I would make it bigger)and I'm sure I could come up with a few more!

I want to make a really nice totebag for myself. I think I've settled on this bag.

I would love to know any feedback about the pattern if anyone on this board has ever made it.

Okay after looking at your pattern that is my next quilt after doing a log cabin with my quilting BFF.

Thanks for the inspiration!

I made this about two years ago. I got stumped with some of the directions, but called her & she helped me. But I want to warn you it is Huge! Great when you're traveling. It is a nice tote/bag.

I have to do one of these with fabric by Paula Nadelstern. I collect paperweights and I just thing this would be so wonderful hanging near them. Plus... it is easier than it looks! Kind of a cheater quilt...he he he

I've heard so many good things about Eleanor Burns' books (the quilt in a day series) that I bought her Log Cabin Quilt in a Day. I've flipped through it and it seems so simple and stream lined! Which means I'll be able to make my mother a quilt for her extra-long twin bed for Mother's Day. Now the fun part is coming- choosing the fabric!
