What's the best way....?

What's the best way....?

I have a couple of quilter's stencils. What is the best way to store them without bending?
Right now i have them in a plastic bag.
Any suggestions???

Wherever you can get to them and remember where they are ... as long as they remain flat.

Mine are in a chest that serves as a coffee table in my living room. That chest holds a lot of my sewing/quilting items and no one knows because it looks so neat.

I have some on a sturdy pin hanging on the wall and then I have also bought some sticky holders that hang on the wall. I think as long as they lay or hang flat they should be oky dokay..

If nothing else, put them in the bottom of a drawer where they'll lay flat. I have mine hanging on a wall but some people don't like to do that.

i hang mine; have a regular wire clothes hanger i just put the (hook) through the top hole (for hanging) and hang them all together in my sewing room closet.

I keep mine in my sewing desk. There is a drawer just for them.

I have 4 hooks on the side of a shelving unit...
I store them by "size"...

small square
large square
narrow border
wide border

I have a really small workroom for my longarm. I store a lot of things vertically. Here are some pix of this 4 ft x 8 ft white trellis under the window in my workroom. Stencils, patterns, basket of rulers, and a clipboard with orders all hang on it on S-hooks.
