Would someone please explain what a Shop Hop is and how it works?

Thanks,
Nancy

the one I do is called the fabshophop. It is where you go to multiple websites and find their little bunny. After you find so many you are eligible for a drawing for a prize. Many of us on this board has won a prize from this one in some form.

Hi Nancy. When you sign up for the shop hop, you will be given a list of online shops to visit. On each site, they've hidden a bunny. When you find it, you click on it. You find as many as you can (one per site) throughout the shop hop and then prizes will be awarded at the end. It's a fun way for shop owners to get you into their shops and browsing while bunny hunting. :D Here's the link to read more about it and sign up for the Shop Hop, if you'd like . . . http://www.fabshophop.com/main.

It's basically a quilters party on wheels...actually - several quilt stores work together and over a given period of time have prizes and sometimes freebies for anyone who visits their store during the designated period of time. Stores are usually in a given geographic area so that participants can easily drive from one to another in a day. Usually you can get your name entered at each store for prizes from that store and sometimes if you visit all stores and get a stamp from the store you are entered for a grand prize. It's a marketing technique that is a lot of fun for quilters.

and as the other poster reminded me, there is a virtual shop hop on line where you visite several web stores.

http://fabshophop.net/

Just go to the registration tab and enter your information. You can collect patterns when doing this also. The pattern will appear when you find the bunny on a website. It only appears randomly, so you won't get a pattern at every shop, just some.
