Oh, I hate that! When I get on such a roll to finish and I think everything is going smoothly! One of two things happens when it's break time... I either make a mistake sewing (similar to yours) or cutting, or the bobbin runs out, then I replace it, then I spot a mistake... Actually, generally if that happens, I cleanup and put it away for the night. Beautiful quilt!

I was trying to finish something up this AM - it's a pattern on point, and on one smaller end I put on the two edge triangles - and realized I'd put them on the wrong way.

I figured I'd rip them and set it aside as I was out of time (really should have set them aside at that point)

So I ripped them off, and realize on one I'd ripped the triangle from the sashing, and on the other I'd ripped the triangle/sashing and from the next block. It's bad enough to sew something wrong, but then to rip wrong also?

Your quilt is beautiful. Sorry you have to rip it though but that is a part of quilting

I don't see it either. Now it is driving me crazy and I have stared at it for a solid 10 min.

Took me a long time to see it. I would so make that part of the design!

Sometimes I try to finish a quilt and then wind up making a mistake that I have to "unsew". I know it's hard sometimes to know when to take a break, however, when I start making little mistakes, it's time for a break. Beautiful quilt, it's going to be so awesome when completed.

Beautiful, eye-catching quilt and I'm happy for you to have found the mistake!
