I've forgotten the name of the lady who invented this technique and her software company name.
The software digitizes your photos and figures out how to make it into a quilt.
Does anyone know her name, software company name, and where I can buy the software?
Thanks!
Blessings,
MaryAnna

Interesting...I didn't know there was a software for that. I just put mine into PowerPoint and resize them or add borders before I print.

This software makes your quilt look like a painting! You scan your photo in, and it calculates all your 'grids' and your fabric color & value choices....it's very detailed. I've seen a quilt a lady on this board did of her daughter, truly magnificent done in small squares of fabric. It's sort of mosiac or watercolor looking.

Didn't realize there was a special program. I do my labels in Microsoft Word - set it up in columns and you can do 6 to a page. If you add pictures it will size them to fit into the column. I've also set up pictures that way and can use the formatting in Word to size them and add writing, whatever you want. It came on the computer too.

MaryAnna... I remember that quilt for a little bit ago. The creator used small squares of different tones/colors to look like image of her daughter... Right?
