    That is soft and goes on the back of a finished embroidery design.

    This has to be an iron on type, that keeps the body from getting scratched. For children it would be great.

    I know you can get it in Canada, but where in the USA can you get this?

    Most quilt stores will carry some. So does JoAnns. they usually have stabilizer both by the bolt and by the package in their notions section. I buy mine from my LQS, which is closing it's doors soon!

    I checked Joanne's, they didn't seem to know what I was talking about.

    Do you have a name for it, the one that Canada sell is called Cloud Cover.

    There is a fusible jersey that might work -- I think I got it at Joann's.

    It is called Cloud Cover here too and there are other "names" depending on brand. There are several on line sites that you can buy it from. Sew For Less, Discount Embroidery Supply, Ann the Gran, Ken's Sewing, Allstitch. I have bought from all of them. Any of these suppliers will know what you are talking about.
