I just echoed my flip flops - It raised them up a bit and looked really good. You could do something around that, but just 1/4" away echo looked good in the @ 10" x 4 1/2 ones I did.

Are you talking about the flip flops in the square that I appliqued on or are you talking about doing that to the border fabric? And if I do that with the border fabric, how do I handle a flip flop that is cut off as it is at an edge? Thanks!!! Virg
