where to get fabric
#11
Favorite Fabrics in Orchard Park NY has great prices and great service too. I have ordered from them and their shipping was pretty reasonable. I have also ordered from them and had them hold it for pick up, when I go to Buffalo. They are quite close to Buffalo and I can usually persuade DH to do a drive by - but, they are not open weekends, you must get there on a weekday if you want to pick up.
Hamel's is in BC and has a great selection, their shipping is free if you order over a certain amount, I think it's $200. for a Canadian order.
Lots of stores in southern Ontario, a previous thread covered this, but please indicate if you can't find it or need a repeat list.
I agree with Tothill, if you can get the vendor to use USPS it's the best for service and price, and no brokerage fee.
