I know I just saw a different mainly purple, with black and white 'thinking outside the box' quilt. was it on here? for some reason the design looked a little different. and it came from a book. can anyone please give me the link, so I can study it a little more. it was made out of a daughters 'wedding colors.'. ty in advance.

There was a purple and black one posted by Sallyandtilly under the title Thinking outside the box. If you put Thinking outside the box in the search box on QB, you can look through the posts.

I would use the advance search. I get better results using that option in the top right corner. Just click on the words Advance Search.

Here's a link for those with inquiring minds (like me!):

Interestingly, this pattern is referred to as "Outside the Box." When I think of a pattern called "Thinking Outside the Box," it's a slightly different pattern...

"Thinking Outside the Block" by Toadusew (often called 'thinking outside the box' in error as in the thread Tartan mentioned above) is a totally different pattern than "Outside the Box" by Ringle and Kerr.

Ahh, that's it. Thanks for clarifying, I know I had a hard time searching for pics in the past because I had the names mixed.
