Default whether to buy quilting machine

I know a lady who has a Juki midarm quilting machine and a handi quilter table that sits on folding tables for $300.00. the machine is only 2 to 3 years old but the table is older. Would this be a good buy? I think the machine alone would be worth that but not sure.

For that kind of deal, I would drive to Iowa and pick it up. Yes, that is, IMHO, a very good deal. I purchased a short arm machine and a 10' frame for $1500 and thought I got a deal.

by the way I guess I should introduce myself, I have been a member since December of 2010 but this is first time I've posted. I am retired, live in Oskaloosa, Iowa, have 3 children , 5 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren and one more on the way. I quilt everyday, I also like x stitch, crocheting, sewing, and reading.I check out the board every morning wouldn't miss it for anything. You all seem so friendly and helpful. I have learned a lot just reading the forums. thank you so much
