I have seen this quilt and taken a picture of the square but can't figure how to make it. Any ideas how or where I can get a tutorial?

I can't figure how to have the folded over point only attached at the button. Look closely at the picture and see that the point has both finnished edges and the enters the seam further down the triangle. I can't figure how to seam in one direction to make the point and then after turning inside out how to smoothly enter the rest of that edge into the seam. The tutorial doesn't address this kind of open both sides of the foleded point only when placing the one folded edge into the seam which makes it flatter than I want.

think they have sewed two squares face to face turned them right side out and that gave a different color on the front and the back.Button is put on last So It would be just as the tutorial explains except for having two sided (two good side) material and using the button for a pretty pretty.

I have studied the picture, and 'imagine' that the pinwheel is created by stitching two triangles together, turning right sides out, insert the 'raw' edge between the two corner background squares and stitching down on side only, pin the free 'point' out of the way, join each section, then after you have created the block, whip stitch the part seam down by hand and fold back point to centre and stitch, add button.. tah dah..well that's how I would do it!

I have done the 3D pinwheels as in the tutorial, but think I like this idea better!! So thanks for the heads up!
