who knows anything about this fabric?

There are MANY fabrics available now that are less than 44/45 inches wide.Ssome are as narrow as only 40 inches off the bolt. I've found 42-43 to be the most common widths of LQS fabrics now.

I just last week made a blouse out of 1970's era fabric (36" wide) that I love. Great thing is it matches a new pair of bright blue jeans I just bought. The older cottons seem to be so much softer and more wearable than the modern cottons. I have no help for indentifying your fabric, sorry.
