Hello Joanie or anyone who might be able to tell me a few things also. I used to live in N Houston and now have moved to Deep E Tx about an hour from Beaumont. My dh bought me a Bernina from Sew What Bernina store in Beaumont and if anyone gets a chance by all means drop by. You will not be disappointed. Also there is another quilt shop in Beaumont that has helped me a lot the is The Peace Maker. Unlike Houston those are the only 2.
I am new to quilting and have almost finished a quilt toip for a twin bet Storm Sea. Having a hard time understanding how to put the secont border on.
What I want to tell you Jooanie is that I sked the other day about using my machint to do the quilting and had seen the hoops used to fold the top and quilt but the lady told me to scrunch up the top and it would fit under the needle the to start in the middle and work outward and do this for each side.
I hope this helps.
Martha P :) :) :)

I can't help you with your problem, but remembered I saw something on "Simply Quilts" about wholecloth. I found the link and hope you enjoy your break.
