What's not to love about this Board. Great sharing of knowledge and friendship. Short cuts, hints, encourgament. Found new areas of interest I didn't ever expect to venture into, such as the vintage machines (oh, my!) and fmq on dsm. The fun, growing in skill, and huge amount of new photos in a week is fantastic. If you can't find an example of a quilt you would love to make from this board, you're really not into quilts. I'm so glad I found this site; hope it never shuts down.

I have found a lot of good information here including You Tube-lots of videos, great locations for materials, tools, etc. I also like the funny stuff, especially Ditter's contributions. This is how I became interested in buying and hopefully learning how to use a treadle machine. Lots of info on how to set up your sewing area, etc.
