The person who made the scraps is NOT a quilter. A lot of our donated fabric looks like that. Our quilt group knows those came from a sewer (so then we know to test to see if it is all cotton)

Mine get cut in weird shapes when I sew clothes. Sometimes I square them up and sometimes I wait till I'm ready to use it.

Some of mine are neat, but then some are not. It seems that IF I straighten them up, I regret it and if I don't, I wish I had. Can't win. LOL

Personally I have all sorts of shapes and sizes and cuts. I'm a free form quilter and way I like it.

Oh, I know. When I find fabric at a thrift stores or a garage sales, they are like yours. I, too, cut mine across and use it. However, the bits and pieces can be used so I guess we just deal with it...sigh.

This looks like mine as well. Can't see wasting the fabric because I don't know what I'll need it for next.
