I did buy from Fabric.com. It was 108" wide. I had a problem with them but they did come through and correct it and sent my new fabric that I was happy with.

You could try connecting threads, joanns, and keepsake quilting.

I just got 3yds x 3 yds for $18.00 on sale on line from Quilt In A Day. That was not $18 per yard... it was $18 for the whole 3 yard cut. Including S/H the whole order was less than $28.00 It is beautiful fabric. Reg. price was $36/yd and minimum is a 3 yd cut, but it is a great deal compared to buying 46 in wide at a fabric store at around $10/yd and still having to piece it together to fit a full to queen size quilt. I have had really good luck with ordering from them and get my orders fast without paying for extra fast delivery. I just got fabric the other day at a local fabric store for a smaller quilt of approximately 60x 60 for $6/yd and ended up having to buy 5 yds so I could sew it together to make it fit. I like having some left over anyway for other things and sometimes to make things to match the quilt I use the backing in.

I second nixiechicks.com. I ordered some wide backing fabric not too long ago and I was very pleased with the price and the service. The quality was also good.

And, I got a free fat quarter with my order!

www.SewBatik.com also carries 108" wide backing in batiks. I bought a piece at the quilt show in Rosemont. It's a beautiful peice of fabric and reasonably priced, too.
