Im looking at purchasing some backing material. Can seem to find dimensions for "WIDE" backing. Is their a standard size for backing?

I try to always use wide backing for my quilts. Most I use are 108" wide. I have bought from Fabric.com & been pleased with price & quality. Though you do get what you pay for, a higher priced backing should be a bit higher quality fabric.

Thousands of bolts has a wonderful selection of wide backings and they give the width of the fabric.

Fabric.com sells quite a few wide backings... Their (standard) is 108" but they do carry a few 90", 116" and 120" widths also.

I have seen it 90", 104", 108" and 120". The website or end of the bolt should tell you the width. Great stuff, love not having to piece the back and it is cheaper too!!

And you can make tablecloths also. Wide fabrics are great.
