I realized I had forgot to make DH a gift for Christmas (going through my tote -- my stash, lol).
I found a denim apron I bought, and some sun dried fabric I had made. The fabric has shadowed kitchen tools. After not seeing them for a year I thought they look kind of cool! Anyhow. I sewed the fabric to muslin and turned, like a pillowcase, basted them down, then proceeded to FMQ. Do you think it will plump up enough to even see my quilting?

I don' believe it will you might need something inside - at least flannel or very very thin batting otherwise it might just look like embroideried fabric.
