    Winding

Want to make a winding waves quilt...queen size {I know pretty aggressive}} but what size templates do you recommend. Have 6" but may be too small?

I'm thinking you might mean winding ways? I used a die cutter, the blocks finished at 8". A queen quilt from 6" blocks would take a lot of blocks and because of the curved pieces, you will loose a fair amount of fabric. The quilt would be lovely , but you might want to consider a larger template.

I hope you are not a beginner quilter because you will be dealing with curved piecing and bias edges. I would get the 8" templates since you will have less blocks to make and it will be a better proportion for a queen size quilt. Good Luck
