I loved Simply Quilts and learned so much from her. I have a whole box full of vcr tapes that I recorded and of course now I can't view them because I don't have a vcr anymore, just a dvd player. Loved, loved, loved Alex Anderson, was so disappointed when she left. Hardly ever watch HGTV anymore since they decided to take all the good "crafty" shows off, and I even enjoyed the gardening shows; even liked some of the "home remodeling shows". Miss Matt and Sherri too.
Nothing lasts anymore. "Progress". Ha. But, just gotta go with the flow.

Also a big fan of Simply Quilts as well as other old HGTV shows. It would be nice to see some reruns from the old shows rather than a whole day of the same series like they now air. Not quilting related.....but loved the show where they did a room makeover for $500 or less.

I loved Simply Quilts and watched HGTV for it and the sewing and craft shows every day. I never watch it anymore now that they have taken them all off. I used to get so many ideas and learned so much from them. Sure miss them.

My daughter has a DVD/VHS player, it can even record a VHS onto a DVD. If you have some old tapes it is possible that you could have them transferred onto a tape. I believe that Costco does it.

I would love to see if back on TV or have Alex release it on DVDs.

I saw some very short videos of Simply Quilts on the HGTV website, they were less than 7 minutes long.
