I have noticed several people on the board requesting ideas for Quilting Treasures's Wizard of Oz fabric line.

I could not believe it, but on page 92/93 of Fons & Porter's Love of Quilting July/August 2010 are the results of the Wizard of Oz 70th Anniversary Quilting Contest.

Even if you are not the biggest Oz fan, the quilts and other goodies should provide some inspiration of how to use other panels/novelty fabric.

Just got that FOns and POrter magazine today. I love what they did with the oz fabrics. I have a basket of them waiting to make another oz quilt. My neice got the first one I did. Now I am doing one for me. I love Oz. Even the slot machines in the casinos. Love glenda bringing me wild cards and dorothy taking me down th yello brick road. LOL. Another project waiting to be done.
