Has anyone made this quilt? I'm just finishing putting the blocks together then deciding on boarders...My question here is if you have done this quilt top, how did you quilt it(meaning what kind of all over pattern would one use) and what color of thread did you use...I'm leaning towards a pale cream color drawn out from the paleness of the background...
Here is the quilt I made
Except, in the stars, I fussy cut more wolfs from the panel which has 3 little wolfs in it. Also, I think I will go with just plain brown outside border....but still undecided on that...
This is just a picture this is not my quilt top

I quilted a similar pattern with different woodland animals-- deer, elk, coyoye, bear.

I quilted around each animal, did continuous curves on the pieced blocks, put a leafy wreath in the center, and quilted leafy vines in the border.

i used a medium gray thread on mine and quilted each block individually- outlining and adding detail to each wolf-
i did meandering trees in the borders

Love this quilt. How did you decide to quilt it after all?

I really like that quilt! Can you tell me where this particular pattern is? The only Wolf Song quilts that I can find are wall hangings but I really like the way the quilt in the picture, that you posted, looks.
