Default Wonder Clips

Are they worth the expense. I have never used one and priced them at the LQS and decided pins are much cheaper. If they are fabulous and well recommended I will bite the bullet. Thanks for the help.

You can get those small clips at some hardware stores. I was using those for a decade or so on binding, the tip coming from someone on my Stashbusters list.

I bought a pack of the small ones at Hancock's with a 40% off coupon, I like them but I only pin or clip 15-20 inches at a time, they come in handy for lots of other stuff too. The girl at Hancock's told me they carry them at Sally Beauty supply, without the measurements on them and a lot cheaper.

I purchased a set and they work great. I used to use hair clips that snap down in the middle ( I hope you know what I'm talking about). The wonder clips seem to hold much better. I have the very small ones. I thought I was ordering the medium ones so was a little surprised when the package arrived. I don't know if Joann's sells them or not. If so you could use a coupon ( our Joann's is very small so they don't carry as much as there larger stores

I took a binding class when they first came out. The instructor gave each of us 2. her comment was to buy a package of 10 and share them with friends, 2 for each friend.

I know of those who use the 50 package but using 2-3 was always good enough for me.

I do have arthritis in my hands/fingers so pins aren't really an option. Before the Wonder Clips I did glue basting for my bindings and even put a written tute on the QB.

I bought a box of 50, and line them up on stretches of my quilt, but I agree with AliKat, you really don't need that many. I really love them and use them on every quilt. To me, they're worth it.

I have a box of 50 - they are great for bindings and if you make bags - keeps you from sticking yourself with pins.

I really like them! I bought a package of 10 but thought that wouldn't be enough so found a great deal on a package of 50 and bought them. I have never used 50 of them at one time!!! I use them when I am binding my quilts and I also use them for making my EPP Hexies.
