I just wanted to share with you a wonderful thing that happened to me.
Through the board, I discovered FatCatPatterns.com and the block of the month patterns there. Immediately I started printing out a couple of the BOM's. One of them, the "Baltimore Bliss" I had missed the first two blocks. Well, I planned on purchasing them at the end of the series, but didn't pay attention and all of a sudden the series was complete. I was so sad to see that they weren't available for individual sale anymore. So, I emailed Sindy (the creator) and asked her if she would be willing to sell the two missing patterns to me.
Bless her heart if she didn't send them to me and just told me to drop a donation on her website!
What a wonderful lady she is! So, I am going to be dropping a donation on her site, just like she asked, but I also wanted to rave about her and hope to maybe get some of you, who don't know of her, interested in her WONDERFUL patterns!
Go check out fatcatpatterns.com! She is amazing! (and super sweet too!)

I just spent about 15 minutes looking at all of the patterns on this site. It's wonderful!! I am just learning to applique and now I have many free patterns to practice on. I love the strawberry block. Thanks so much.

Her site is a great way to start appliquing -- especially since so many of her patterns she gives away for free.

I highly recommend it to anyone wanting to applique!
