I ran across this "new" blade sharpener, and wondered if anyone else has purchased one yet (they are rather new...at least at KQ) and has any information to share on them. Good or bad!

I know I would like to have a sharpener that actually did a good job, as I am sure many of you would. Wonder if that day will ever come? Here is the link, hope it works.

Looks like a good idea, but there is nothing better than a blade fresh from a new package!

If it really works, they won't be able to keep up with demand :!: :-D I sure hope someone here has tried one. I would also like to know if it is any good.

Looks good to me. Much like my knife sharpener.

That is what my husband said.... thinks it might be "designed" better. I guess time will tell.

I ordered one and it should be at home by now but I'm out of state at a family emergency. I will try it asap when I get home and get back to this thread when I do. It may be a week or more.

Before Christmas the local Hancock's had them on sale (cheap, I thought), but they had only the largest size available. I was in a hurry and didn't look it over well before buying, thinking one size fits all. Wrong! And this one is for the one size cutter I don't have (yet?), so I haven't been able to try it.

I think it would work a lot like a knife sharpener, so in that respect it could be good. It still won't take out nicks in the blade, though. It's such a hefty cost, I guess I feel it's safer to just buy replacement blades in bulk off eBay; could probably get a two-year supply that way for the cost of the sharpener.

WOW!!! if this works well, I can see giving the blades a quick touch up on a regular basis. I wonder if they would stay sharp longer if given quick touch ups, rather than waiting until they are dull?
I will be watching to see what you think when you get it :D:D:D

I try to use my blades as long as I can. So, I would just use a new blade.
