I love making these confetti pieces. They are a way to use every single bit of fabric especially the ugly ones----
Any way I have used them for bags, wall art and checkbook covers. Right now I am trying to decide if I ought to list them on etsy, take them to the farmer's market or list them on here. Oh I made a couple of coats with a wool combination out of them also. There is just oh so much other stuff to do.

The background piece was oh so ugly

I like this without a ton of bits

Good Lord woman! Those are gorgeous. There is hope now for my boxes of ugly scraps. I didn't know what to call them, but Confetti sounds appropriate.

The ugly is the base, then a layer of bits under preferably black tulle, a bit of free motion quilting and .......no more ugly.

This is fine art! While it will take some effort on your part, I'm sure you'll find galleries wiling to show and sell your quilts. You might have to explore beyond MT, however.
