I use half of a wooden spring clothespin. Works great for small seams and is cheap as can be!

I have used a mini-wooden pastry roller and it works.
Also have use the plastic scraper thingy that you get with Pampered Chef stoneware.

However, finger pressing to me is underrated ... I prefer to do REAL pressing!

I use my mini roller for wallpaper seams. Works very well.

Cold pressing doesn't work for me. But I found that if I want to open a seam a tracing wheel works pretty good to part the ways.

That's what I use. Makes my hand hurt if I use it too much, but it WAS dirt cheap!

I have a little wooden seam presser, I think I got it on Eleanore Burns web site. Its great for paper piecing.
