Worth the trip!

While returning home from Kansas today, I finally stopped in at a quilt shop I have noted from a billboard on I 70 many times, but had not yet followed the temptation. I entered "Quilter's Harvest" in Higginsville, MO on main street, was greeted by a wonderful, friendly woman who gave me a sale sheet for what was on sale today. She directed me around the shop when I told her I had not been in there before. The clearance section at the back of the store was 50% off, or 70% off if you adopted the whole bolt. They had a beautiful selection in clearance and I must say I adopted a nice haul. Very nice quality I got for $3 a yard. Bought a few for backing and several coral/green tones for a quilt I know I'm going to love. Just wanted to share because I see people who have unhappy experiences occasionally and I had a great one today.
