Hi all,

I am trying to design a quilt for a friend, and I can't figure out how to make the software do what I'd like to do! I was wondering if anyone here could help me tweak this file?

I've attached what I've made so far. It needs to be Queen size, for starters. LOL!! And in the white blocks, I'm trying to make smaller friendship stars... either 4 of them in a four-patch design OR two of them diagonal from each other.

I can't quite envision what either of those would look like, but I know she doesn't want the same size stars on the whole top; she wants some variation... all the while using friendship stars.

Is this possible in EQ?
THANK you for any help or advice!

Do you want friendship star blocks in the cornerstones of the sashing? You'd need to increase the size of your sashings to do that, which would also increase the size of the quilt.

:-)

I have EQ6, if I send you the file I don't think you'll be able to open it? I'm not sure, I have no experience with how compatible 5 and 6 are.

If you will be able to open it, let me know and I'll post the files.
