I had not paid any attention to this topic when it showed up a few days ago, thinking... I need to get through the holidays before I even think about a new project... Finally clicked on it ( the intrigue was pulling on me) and see .... January.... That I can get my heart around! So, I ordered the book, and am now motivated to wrap up all the other *stuff* ... I have looked at and considered this project for years, a quilt along is a great way to get it done. So, I'm in, and looking forward to the adventure!

I checked out the link provided - what a beautiful quilt! I'll be watching this thread to see how it progresses, I don't have the book, and can't imagine me doing a whole quilt, but would love to do a wall hanging!

Since there seems to be a good amount of interest in this, I will get a hold of an admin and clear it with them. I also really like the idea of running a linky party through my blog so I'll have to see how QB feels about that - I know there are rules about advertising personal blogs.

I am working on this quilt right now and not hard. Have all my blocks made and machine appliqued. Am now doing the embroidery and I have 10 blocks made. So far it has been fun and look forward to finishing it. Don't be afraid of this pattern. It's fun.
