Have any of you found a white 100% cotton fabric that isn't almost a sheer? So many that I see are very thin. I will appreciate any & all recommendations.

I have found lovely fabric at my LQS, but I hunt through the white on white until I find one. Most are shearer than normal, but recently found some with more density. Keep looking; they are out there.

Solid white try Kona. I get mine at Jo-Anns, but look it all over before I buy, then I buy in bulk.

Unfortunately, the bleached muslin of the right weight is usually an old sheet!
Murphy is right about going for the white-on-whites to get the same weight as other prints.

I like the solid white Kona cotton, too.

I was just thinking the same thing. I hate the fact that white fabric tends to be so flimsy

I bought Bella solid in white and I thought it was thicker than Kona. Still, it's white and if you have to press toward it, you've got a problem. It ravelled a bit (weird - very "organized" sliced ravels). But I liked it lots.
