I picked up this fabric last night at Walmart...I just have to add too that I'm really impressed with the modern print and quality of this fabric! Cranston VIP you're stepping up your game there... ;)

Anyhow I'd like to make a 3d pinwheel like I've seen in the tutorial section for my baby girl who's due the end of April.

I'm going to use the floral and dark pink for borders and backing, and the other fabrics for the pinwheels. Do you think I should add some green to this? My only concern is the green that goes with this collection is a lot more vibrant than the green in the leaves and vines of the floral.

Or do you think it's fine alone with just the fabrics shown?

If the greens you are talking about using are the ones you have pictured, then I would definitely use them. If it is another green not pictured, can't tell you without seeing it.

I love the colors you have showing. The darker green of the two makes the other colors pop.
Can't wait to see the finished item.

I know it's tough without showing the fabric - but the green really borders on a lime green. It's not dark like the green in the vines of the floral...this is why I'm so torn! ;)

I think you have a very nice group of fabrics there. I would use what is shown.

I would say it would add if you went with the darker green, but most definately would "pull" your eye away from the pink pattern. So, it depends on where you want the focus of your quilt. I like the combo as it is!
