    Either one would work......I am curious about the pattern.....a jelly roll thing????? looks like fun......

    I like #1 the best for comfort and #2 for the contrast and pop. So both would work.

    When I hear "tradewinds" I think of a tiny island in the ocean, so the light blue fabric seems better suited to me.

    I like No. 1 as it complements the batiks and lets them take center stage, while the white pops and the batiks don't shine as much. Gorgeous fabric by the way, but I'm partial to batiks. Look forward to seeing what you decide.
