    I vote the soft yellow print. It makes the contrast a less "shocking" contrast. I made a Trade Winds as a baby quilt. Fun and liked the results.

    I definitely like the first, yellow print. It works much better with the colors you have chosen.

    I totally agree with alikat... the warmth of 1 appeals the most but the cool 2 would work if that is the look and effect you are going for.

    I think 1 blends better, 2 contrasts more, both are pretty.

    I really think #2 is the way to go. It looked to me to be very neutral when next to your other batiks. It doesn't draw my attention away from the batiks like #1 did.

    Personally I like #2 cuz of the contrast and pop. But if you like both ... pick the one you like BEST

    I really like #1. Both are nice but #1 is a much warmer contrast.
