Default Would you please show me?

I want to make some Christmas placemats but have no idea how I want to make them. I have googled to death and have also seen a few on this board when I'm able to find them. (The search on this board brings up way too much other stuff) I just can't seem to find anything that catches my eye. I don't really know what look I'm going for but was hoping when I see it, it will be the one. For the ones who have made them, would you mind posting a picture and letting me (and others) know where you got the pattern from? I would like mine to be roughly 14x20.

Thanks

When you are searching, try the advanced search. I had the same problem until I used the advanced search.

My camera isn't working but I will describe the ones I am giving this year. First, they aren't quilted but I spent a lot of effort in picking just the correct fabric for the front and back to go with the dishes of the person I am giving them to. They are reversible, mine are a little smaller than the size you want, with a layer of flannel between the front and back fabric. The edges are finished with a rolled edge and there is a matching napkin. I am also doing some holiday placemats that are cream on the front with a large embroidered design at each end. The back fabric is a holiday red print and the rolled edge is in red. There will be two sets of napkins with these, one of red linen and one of cream. Since I didn't quilt the placemats I used spray adhesive to adher the three layers of fabric so there is no shifting. The embroidered ones have stablizing in them also. I think they look very dressy and elegant and chic.
However you make your placemats I would advise you to give napkins with them because it is so hard to find the exact right napkin to go with a placemat. Colors are hard to match, etc.

Those are very cute placemats. I've bought in the past printed placemats and just had to put them together. How about Joanne's fabric a Simplicity pattern when they go on sale for $.99. or maybe one of the other patterns will be on sale this weekend. Good Luck. Sue
