Today I went to the home of a lady who has decided to give up on her attempt to learn quilting. She had lots of fabrics from the LQS, and the biggest score was a full, untouched box (40 yards!) of Warm and Natural cotton batting. She sold it for $150... Money is so TIGHT for us right now, but I just couldn't pass up such a good deal, especially after what everyone is saying about the cotton batting going way up in price due to the crop shortage last year. It was a score, but it still stung to sink that kind of money into supplies all at one time. $3.75 a yard for cotton batting... woo hoo! I was *blessed*!

wow....good for you....!!!! enjoy and don't feel guilty...ytou could make and sell something to retrieve your money and still have plenty for fun !!!

Fabulous bargains! I have been more sorry about things that I did not buy instead of the things that I did buy - so good for you. I am sure you will reap your savings, sooner or later.
