Has anyone made the X's and O's quilt with scarp fabric?

I seen the tutorial on the Missouri star quilt company and the lady, Jenny used charm packs so all the fabric went together well.

When I have any fabric left over from a project, I cut it into 6 inch squares, so I have lots of them and would like to use them up.

Do you think it would look good using scrap 6 inch sq

Thanks

Hi,
I used my scraps for this quilt, it looks great. Go for it, you will be surprised and it's so easy too - which is always a bonus!!

i love scrappy. when you make a pattern with them, and the that pattern needs to show well, to define the X and O, you have to be careful of the value of the scraps. i have a red glass that i look through which shows the value well.
