I need some help. My MIL passed away 1 year ago. My FIL found her old sewing machine she had stored in a closet It is a Singer Model 337. I have no manual or parts. She still had some thread on the bobbin and a needle in it. He gave it to me tonight and I am clueless about this machine. I read where it was manufactured in Scotland for only 2 years. 1964 and 1965. She has the original foot pedal but looks like she replaced it with a different type. I am not even sure how to thread this machine. Does anyone have this machine or can give me ANY advice on how to go about getting it up and running. I did read all the gears are metal. (This sucker is heavy!!) ANY help would be greatly appreciated!!!

If all else fails, you can order a manual from this site.

The website is "www.matersewusa.com" Scroll down and you will eventually come to model 337. For $5.00 you can download a manual or have one sent to you.
    Good Luck
