After so many years of raising boys, I finally get a girls room all to myself and it's not in the basement! I will paint it purple so the boys won't want to back in it!!!

My kids are gone. I live in a 2 bdrm Condo and my sewing machine was brought home and lives in my dining room....LOL...2nd bedroom is full of stuff. Have been cleaing and reorganizing.....Enjoy your special place. It's wonderful to have.

I did mine turquoise with white trim and sheer curtains, just to MAKE SURE that they would stay out!

My future SIL told us that the last time he went home to visit his parents, his mother had wallpapered his room in flowers. DH told him that it was no longer HIS room :-)

His mother told me that after raising boys, she was happy to be able to decorate in a girly fashion.
