Took a ride to the nearest Joann Fabrics and bought a Clover yo-yo maker as suggested. Think you know what I'll be doing this afternoon. Thanks for all your suggestions

Reminds me to find my yo yo maker too. I need to make some while watching tv so I can do that cute quilt someone showed us with the yoyo's sewn on it.

Look at my AV... I love yo-yos...just started making them about a two months ago.

My new aspiration is to make a 5' Christmas tree wall hanging completely out of embellished yo-yos. Wonder if I'll get it done in this life time?....LOL

I searched every square inch of Joann's last Thursday and could NOT find the yo-yo maker. I wanted to buy one and by the time I got to the cashier I forgot about it...duh. Now I have a good excuse to go back.

So...where are they located in Joann's? I even looked in the crafts for kids section because when my oldest grandaughter was little she used them with elastic to make hair ties.

Found my yo yo maker in with the quilting notions. At least in the Cortland, NY Joann's. Happy hunting and quilting.

I saw the cutest pattern for yo yo's, it was a gingerbread house with all the trimmings and I think there was even some deer standing along the sidewalk. I can't remember where I saw it but would love to order it and try it. Has anyone seen it I think it might have been connecting threads book but not sure.
