My husband and I are moving to Northern California. We had the wonderful opportunity to meet the gentleman whose home we are hopefully buying. I say hopefully because it is dependent upon our home's escrow closing. Turns out his daughter is a awesome quilter. He proudly showed us the memory quilt she made. It was so beautiful and you could see the love and pride on his face as he recollected and shared with us the memories depicted in the pictures on the quilt. What a wonderful gift this was to your father. Just wanted to say that pictures we see here are great but nothing like the love you feel when you see one in person and hear the words and feel the pride of the recipient! I have now put in my book of projects to complete a memory quilt for each of my children and grandchild. What a priceless gift these are to the recipient. Words cannot express the feeling the quilters must have when stitching these together.

It is always heartwarming to hear how much a recipient loves their quilt :D:D:D
