You know you are a quilter:

1. If you buy a treadle machine just in case the electricity goes out

2. You call your best friend and the whole conversation is about the quilts you both are working on... 8)

3. Your husband immediately turns the car around to go to a quilt shop you pass on the road without even saying anything!

4. You've been asked, "What are you going to do with all those quilts?"
(and your answer is - stack 'em up and make a path through the house!)

You know you are a quilter--when in church you are copying the pattern from the shirt of the man setting in front of you because you know it will make a great quilt block.

You know you're a quilter when you buy yards of beautiful fabric just to cut it apart and sew it back together. But that's okay, because you save every little scrap that's left over til your sewing room would probably be condemned as a fire trap - if the inspector could even get in the door.

You know you're a quilter when you are talking about buying a batt and you don't mean baseball.

you know you're a quilter if your child graduates and you have all their stuff packed and by the door the week after graduation so you can make their room into a sewing room.
