I was on craigslist looking around and I found this...Kenmore Electric Rotary Sewing Machine

Heavy duty Kenmore sewing machine built in 1948

Model number 117-959

Instruction book and box full of accessories

Motor runs, but the machine will need work to use it

4 drawer wood cabinet

Hides the machine - opens up to reveal it!

Cabinet in good condition, a little wear, but not bad

Cabinet dimensions:
33 1/4" wide
19 1/4" deep
31" tall
Non-smoking home

$40

Here is the link....it looks beautiful in the pics. Wish I had room for it!

Hope it's ok to post this...what a find!

that's a steal and i would make the room. i'd get rid of a lamp table for it.
BUT i live in new jersey and i won't make the trip for it.

What a wonderful find! It will make someone very happy.

Ican't offer it a home, either. I was blessed to be given my mother's machine, same vintage, different company, cabinet beaten up from 60 year's use by three not-so-careful little girls (myself included). The machine runs like a dream, and offers so many memories each time I use it.
