No matter what I am shopping for, no matter how tight my schedule is, I always make time to sort through the remnants at Wal-Mart, Hobby Lobby, Hancock, JoAnns... Most of my stash is remnants and I just love the hunt. I recently found some very colorful remnants from the sew-quick dresses for girls. I just trim off the fitted top and have a very colorful add for a quilt.

What about all of you? Are you remnant junkies?

I do at JoAnns but not the other places. I like the 50% off :-)

Yep! That is how I built my stash in the beginning. I have found however just because it is a remnant does not mean it is cheaper. I like to find the remnants that have been marked down a couple of times. I also like to buy what is left on a bolt. One can never have too much of a fabric you like:)

don't forget the LQS. I found some wonderful end of bolt fabrics this past weekend at a LQS and they were all half off the regular price.

Absolutely! I love scrappy look and I can't afford to buy large cuts so this is the way to go for me.

I use to, but have been burned. Usually found the piece had been joined with large stitches.
