I have two strips I inadvertently sewed upside down to rip, then back to sewing.

Today I will be ripping....found a UFO of precut HSTs for a pinwheel block that I bought a century ago. One side print other solid....so yesterday after working on l/a I wanted to relax and so I sewed about 15 blocks...went to put in box only to realize I did them backwards.....should be print pinwheel, solid bkgrnd.....I did solid pinwheel, print bkgrnd.....so my song of today is ripit, ripit, ripit! Then flipit, flipit, flipit..........but at least it will be another UFO that will become a quilt!

I think we have all been there. When that happens to me I quit for a while and then go back. Some days you can't win for losing...LOL.

I was making the Disappearing Hour Glass, and forgot to trim the HST's before I sewed them together. MISTAKE! I cut one up before I realized that something was wrong. Now I have about 5 or 6 blocks laying there and don't have the gumption to rip right now. But I will. Maybe when the snow flies.

neither - today I will fondle and then put away my purchases from Joann. I was able to use 4 - 50% and 1- 40% off coupons on batting by the yard and other basics yardage and a bunch of on sale goodies then at the check out, the clerk told me about a 20% off total purchase cell phone coupon, she even set my phone up for it as my resident smarty pants son was at home. Total savings = $ 166.92! KA-CHING! HAPPY DANCE!
