Would it be cheaper to buy cotton clothing and use them for fabric?

I'm not surprised....I checked on an order today -- BEFORE I ordered. She said the cost to ship to the US was over $22.00 and AIRMAL would be added to THAT price, too!!!! UGH! Glad we live the the USA!

This is clearly mad, but I see it is some sort of super deluxe model- I found it on a US website and they said it is "normally only sold to designers" and offered a "help me buy" button. Well lah di dah!

This reminds me of the comment my son made when he got out of the Navy, after years of traveling all over the world.
"I'm sure glad I was born and raised in America" he said and meant every single word. Told of lots of places where he had shore leave and some of the prices there, living conditions and how the people are without basic services.
And most of them have never had a sewing machine, but make lovely garments by hand. By HAND!! The mere thought of that makes me weak in the knees.
