I was going thru all my craft magazines to decide what to part with. I'm having a huge garage sale this summer.
I found American Quiter magazines each year is ribboned togther in neat piles. all look brand new. Don't even remeber them. I have years 1992 thru 2003. Each year has 4 issues. sping, summer, fall and winter.
Can someone tell me if I sell them here or on ebay how I would have to mail them. Someone told me you can't mail magazines media. Is that true?
I have so much quilting supples I don't want to even untie them LOL!!! may decide not to part with them.
So ladies and gentlemen how would you go about selling them. by years, indivial,or all togther?
Told you I have alot LOL!!! must to not even realize I had these

Media mail can't be used for magazines because mags contain advertisements. Even old ads disqualify them.

Probably your best bet is to sell them here, but in groups of how many will fit into a priority mail box (fixed rate postal box). That would likely reduce shipping costs to the minimum possible for magazines.

I think you should sell as packed; in groups of 4. I just weighed 4 quilt magazines and they weight over 13 oz, so couldn't go first class. They would go in a flat rate envelope for $4.95.

You can mail them, but if they have active/late advertising you can't use media mail. I usually mail them media if they are over 10 years old. If in doubt ask your postmaster

If it feels like magazines they MAY open it. I have had Media Mail packages opened by the post office. It happens all the time.
You can stuff a lot into a PM FRE.
